Mrs. H. Davis

Hello Shafer Knights! My name is Hailee Davis. I am excited to begin my 16th year of teaching. I absolutely love Shafer and this community and was honored to join the staff when we opened the school in 2012.  I’ve enjoyed teaching reading and writing to all grades from kindergarten to 7th grade over the years. I graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. In my classroom, I desire for my students to feel safe, loved, and capable of great things. I hope they learn to love the challenge, because they have the necessary tools to succeed. In my free time I love traveling with my husband and daughter (we have a goal to visit all of the national parks), volunteering at our church, reading, and practicing my hand lettering skills. I also enjoy being active and a good weight lifting workout. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year with you and your child!

Mrs. S. Davis

My name is Shauna Davis and I am excited for the upcoming school year!  I am originally from the Cayman Islands but spent my teen years in Aberdeen, Scotland, where I met my husband.  After graduating high school I moved to Texas and attended Texas A&M University - Whoop! I have been in education for 14 years, with 11 of those being in Katy ISD. During my time in education, I have taught grades 2, 3, & 5, worked as an ESL ISST, an Instructional Coordinator, and an ELA/SS Instructional Coach. I love spending time swimming, traveling, playing board games, and being outdoors with my husband and our two kids. We have a 3-year-old great Pyrenees/Golden mix, Finn, who is a giant but thinks he's a lap dog! When I'm not running around after my kids, I enjoy cheering on the Aggie's, crafting, and reading.  I look forward to an amazing 2023-2024 school year at Shafer Elementary!

Mrs. Repetto-ESL Aide

My name is Natalia Repetto. I am an ESL paraprofessional. I am originally from Argentina and have a degree in early childhood education, with a specialization in teaching a second language. I have been working as a teacher for twenty years and have had the opportunity to live in different countries where I learned various teaching methodologies. I moved to the United States with my husband and our three kids ten years ago. All three of my kids were students at Shafer and, through this experience, I fell in love with this beautiful school and its teachers. For me, working here is a way of giving back a little bit of everything that the school did for my kids and family. In my free time, I like to cook and spend time with my family.

I firmly believe that when children feel that their teachers care about them, they learn faster and better. I love working with kids and finding creative ways to help them learn, have fun, and believe in themselves. I have a passion for what I do and try to do my best every day. I can’t wait to start my fifth year at Shafer!
