Mrs. A. Evans

Howdy! My name is Alison Evans, and I am so excited to begin my 5th year of teaching. I’ve been so blessed to spend all five years here at Shafer Elementary. This is my third year teaching 5th grade. My goal as a teacher is for your student to always feel safe, loved, and successful.

I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's of Science in Health. Previously, I worked in medical, private practices and then stayed home with my children when they were preschoolers before I became a teacher.

In my free time, I love to watch football and baseball, travel, discover unique restaurants and spend time with my family and friends. I have been married to Mr. Evans for 18 years and we have three amazing and busy kids. I have a son here at Shafer, a daughter at Seven Lakes Junior High and a son at Jordan High School. We also have two cute, rescue pups. I am really looking forward to a great school year and can’t wait to be your child’s 5th grade teacher!
