Nathan Fuchs
Executive Director for Maintenance & Operations

Nathan Fuchs began his Katy ISD career in 2003 as an Assistant Project Manager.  The following year, he was promoted to Construction Project Manager and remained in that position until 2016.  At that time, he was selected to be the Director of Maintenance and Special Projects.  Prior to joining Katy ISD, Fuchs was a specialist in the United States Army and was later employed by the Drymalla Construction Company.  Fuchs holds a Bachelor in Industrial Supervision from the University of Houston.​

Mission

The Maintenance & Operations Department will be proactive in providing the highest quality grounds, maintenance and custodial services within our resources.  We will strive to be recognized as environmental stewards through our utility conservation initiatives, recycling programs and our nationally recognized Indoor Air Quality program.
