College and Career Facilitator

  • Each of the nine Katy ISD comprehensive high schools and Raines High School have a dedicated College and Career Facilitator (CCF) on site. A college and career facilitator assists students with planning for their future after graduation. They help students determine their career goals and then advise both students and parents on how to achieve those goals.

In the fall, CCFs meet individually with each Senior student to guide their post-secondary options. In the late Spring, CCFs focus on preparing Juniors for the application process. Throughout the school year, CCFs provide guidance lessons and presentations to the 9th and 10th grade students. CCFs also provide parent presentations, student demonstrations and schedule college and career events on their campus.
