Fall 2024 PSAT/NMSQT
Home-schooled Student PSAT/NMSQT Registration Information
- A home-schooled student, who is enrolled in 9th-11th grade, may make arrangements to take the assessment at his/her zoned high school.
- Parents will need to contact the Testing Facilitator, at the zoned high school campus, for registration requirements and possible costs.
- The deadline to register with the Testing Facilitator at the zoned high school, is Thursday, August 29, 2024, by 12:00 PM. Contact information is listed below.
- Proof of residency is required at the time of registration. See residency requirements for full details.
Home-schooled students must bring their own device for testing - See What-To-Bring posted by College Board.
- Device must be fully charged. Device should be able to hold a charge for 4-5 hours.
- Personal Chromebooks are not allowed by the testing vendor. Please see approved testing devices.
- Bluebook App must already be installed on the device. Please see download Bluebook onto devices.
- Exam setup must be completed prior to testing day.
Katy ISD Enrolled Students Information
All sophomores and juniors will take the Digital PSAT/NMSQT® at their home campus and are automatically registered for this test. Students will use Bluebook™, College Board’s testing app, to take the test on their district-managed Chromebook.

For PSAT/NMSQT information, please read the parent letter. Students can prepare for this exam by reviewing the information in the PSAT/NMSQT® Student Guide. There is also additional practice available online.
College Board deadline to request accommodations for the Fall 2024 PSAT/NMSQT is August 19, 2024. Most campuses require requests be submitted 2-3 weeks prior to the College Board deadline so that there is time to collect the required documentation. Please contact the Testing Facilitator at your campus.
Enrolled 9th grade students
- Students who are interested in taking the PSAT/NMSQT should contact their campus testing facilitator by Thursday, August 29, 2024, by 12:00 PM.
- The cost is $18.00.

The Accuplacer student portal allows students access to practice resources, score reports, and test-taking tutorials.
