About Support Services

  • The Support Services Department encompasses all financial aspects of the department, including accounting, budget, compliance, fixed assets, finance, and payroll. These internal departments are responsible for providing support to the District’s Business and Financial Services Departments to ensure the department has the tools and resources they need to perform repairs and resolve problems efficiently.

    Beyond financial operations, Support Services also oversees the District's Fleet Mechanic Shop, Warehouse, and Facility Rentals.

    • Fleet Mechanic Shop: A skilled team of six mechanics is responsible for maintaining and repairing more than 350 white fleet vehicles, including trucks, vans, and equipment such as trailers, mowers, blowers, trimmers, and lifts.
    • Warehouse Department: Manages the district’s work order system, facilitating efficient task prioritization and preventive maintenance scheduling. On average, the department processes over 65,000 work orders annually.
    • Facility Rentals Department: Oversees all AC/heating and parking lot scheduling for before- and after-school activities, as well as weekend facility use and campus rentals. The team manages approximately 78,000 events annually.

    The Support Services Department is committed to working together to support and serve the needs of the district’s students, staff, and community.
