ABM - Student Transfer Information:
Will current Katy or Paetow high school students rezoned to High School #10 be allowed to continue at their current campus?
Yes. Current 10th and 11th grade students attending Katy or Paetow high schools will remain at their current campus through graduation. No transfer applications will be required. Only students who will be in 9th and 10th grades during the 2024-2025 school year will be rezoned to High School #10.Current 9th grade students attending Katy or Paetow high schools who do not have an older sibling at Katy or Paetow high schools must attend High School #10.
Will siblings of current 10th and 11th grade students be allowed to attend the same campus as their older sibling for the 2024-2025 school year?
Yes. Current (2023-2024) 8th or 9th grade students who are rezoned to High School #10 and have a current 10th or 11th grade sibling attending Katy or Paetow high schools may apply for a transfer to attend the same campus as their sibling.When will the Student Transfer Application for siblings be available?
The Student Transfer Application for siblings will be available beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, and will close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024. Students who do not apply for a sibling transfer by the deadline (January 15, 2024) will be rezoned to High School #10.Where is the Student Transfer Application located?
The Student Transfer Application is located on the Katy ISD Student Transfers webpage. The following link may also be used to access the form: 2024-2025 Student Transfer Application. This link opens on November 1, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. and will close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024.How and when will I know if my student’s transfer request is approved?
An administrative decision is typically made within 10 days of submission. Notification will be sent to the email address provided on the application. Please set your email filters to accept emails from CampusAdminSupport@katyisd.org.How long will an approved student sibling transfer remain in effect?
Transfer approvals are per school year. Renewal applications must be submitted annually.If my student has been rezoned to High School #10, will I need to withdraw my student from Katy or Paetow high school and enroll at High School #10?
No. Current 8th and 9th grade students rezoned to High School #10 for the 2024-2025 school year do not need to withdraw and re-enroll. The Katy ISD Technology Department has identified the students who have been rezoned to High School #10 and will update student campus information accordingly.Should you have additional questions regarding student sibling transfers, please contact:

ABM - Transportation Information
Will transportation be provided for the 9th and 10th grade students rezoned to High School #10?
Yes. Students must qualify as ELIGIBLE according to Katy ISD guidelines.Will the 11th and 12th grade students that remain at Katy or Paetow high school continue to receive transportation?
Yes. Students who will remain at Katy or Paetow high schools will continue to receive transportation. Students must qualify as ELIGIBLE for transportation according to Katy ISD guidelines.Will siblings approved to remain at Katy or Paetow high school receive transportation?

Will athletic programs be offered at High School #10 when it opens in Fall 2024? Yes, students will be able to participate in individual sports (Tennis; Cross-Country; Swim/Diving; Wrestling; Golf; and Track and Field) and team sports (Volleyball; Football; Basketball; Soccer; Softball; and Baseball) when High School #10 opens in Fall 2024.
When will individual athletic programs at High School #10 compete at the varsity level?
Athletes in the following individual athletic programs will be able to compete at the varsity level beginning with the 2024-2025 school year: Cross Country, Golf, Tennis, Track & Field, Swimming & Diving, WrestlingWhen will team athletic programs at High School #10 compete at the varsity level?
Athletes in the following team athletic programs will be able to compete at the varsity level beginning with the 2025-2026 school year: Baseball, Basketball, Softball, Soccer, VolleyballWhen will football at High School #10 compete at the varsity level?
High School #10 varsity football will compete at the varsity level beginning with the 2026-2027 school year.Will a student who is rezoned to High School #10 need to submit any UIL-related eligibility forms?
No. Students rezoned to High School #10 are immediately eligible to participate in athletic programs at the varsity and sub-varsity level.Will a student who is rezoned to High School #10 and remains at Katy or Paetow high school on an approved sibling transfer be eligible for UIL varsity participation?
Yes. If approved to remain at Katy or Paetow high school on a sibling transfer, the student is UIL eligible. If at any point the student requests to revoke the transfer to remain at Katy or Paetow high school and to attend High School #10, the transfer to attend High School #10 must be approved per board policy and the student must meet UIL eligibility requirements to continue participation in UIL governed programs. Students on an approved sibling transfer and electing to remain at Katy or Paetow high school are encouraged to contact the Katy ISD Athletic Department.May a current 9th grade student enrolled at Katy or Paetow high school and rezoned to High School #10 request a transfer to remain enrolled at Katy or Paetow high school due to varsity participation?

When will my Katy or Paetow high school 9th grade student, who has been rezoned for the 2024-2025 school year, try-out for the High School #10 cheerleading or dance team?
Cheer and dance team try-outs and auditions for High School #10 will take place during the spring 2024 semester.
