Class Of 2025

  • Final Exams and Senior Week Events - May 12th - May 16th

Seniors will be able to start applying for exemptions using the Semester Exam Exemption Tile in MyKaty Cloud on Friday, May 2nd at 7:00 AM until tile closes on Wednesday, May 7th at 11:59 p.m. Please make sure you are clear of all fines, fees and holds -this includes new IDs, Temp IDs, parking fees, course fees, book holds, library holds, etc.

Some items to note for Senior Exam Week (see attached schedule):

    • Seniors will follow the regular bell schedule the week of May 12 – May 16.
    • Seniors may EXEMPT ALL final exams, if eligible (see Exam Exemption Requirements attached)
    • Seniors will take their final exam during their regular class period.
    • For example: Monday, May 12 are the 1st, 6th, and 7th period final exams, so they will take their exams during 1st, 6th, and 7th period.
    • Even if a student is EXEMPT from taking the exam, they must still attend that class period.
    • Once the student has taken their exam or exempted their exam, they must still attend that class the rest of the week.
    • If a student is not present, they will be marked absent.

    Final Exam Exemption Clarifications:

    Advanced Placement (AP) Exams:

    • Students enrolled in an AP course who successfully sit for the AP exam for that course may elect to exempt the final exam in the Spring semester. However, students must meet the discipline and attendance criteria above and pass the course to be eligible for the exemption.
    • The final exam exemption for an AP exam does not count toward the maximum number of exemptions for that student's grade level.

HCC Dual Credit & College Prep courses CANNOT be exempted.

IMPORTANT SENIOR INFORMATION (Class of 2025): Campuses will communicate their specific senior final exam schedule and senior activities that begin on Monday, May 12. Campuses will host a Class of 2025 graduation ceremony meeting and other senior events daily beginning on Monday, May 12th. These events are required for Seniors. Campuses will communicate specific schedules of the events. Students are encouraged to verify semester exam exemption eligibility by continually monitoring their semester average(s), attendance/tardies, conduct grade(s) and behavior consequences via the Home Access Center (HAC). 2024-2025 CRHS Senior Calendar.

    Student Identification Badge Reminders

IDs must be worn at all times while in the CRHS school building. If a student arrives at school and realizes they do not have their ID, they must stop at the 9th grade or main attendance office entrance upon entering the building to obtain one. Students may receive 5 free temporary IDs per six weeks. After 5 temporary IDs are issued, the cost of any additional temporary IDs will be $1. Students do not have to have the money on hand to receive the temporary ID.

While in the school building, students must wear their current year student ID where it is visible and easily seen. Students may not have their ID or the picture on their ID covered. If a student fails to wear their ID where it is visible, they will be in noncompliance with the Discipline Management Plan and will be assigned a one hour after school detention.

    From the Discipline Management Plan:

To maintain a safe and orderly school environment, all students are expected to always wear their current year ID badge during school hours while on Katy ISD property.  If the student loses the ID, a replacement must be purchased promptly from the school office. Failure to follow these procedures may be considered a violation of the Discipline Management Plan and Student Code of Conduct.

    Tardies

    Discipline for Tardies:

    • 1 - 3 Tardies =         No consequence
    • 4 - 6 Tardies =         1 hour after school detention (ASD)
    • 7 - 9 Tardies =         2 hours after school detention (ASD)
    • 10 - 12 Tardies =     3 hours after school detention (ASD)
    • 13+ Tardies  =         a level 3 offense (3.26) Persistent Level 2 offenses which will result In-School-Suspension (ISS)
    • 8 or more tardies in six weeks for a class will result in an "N" in conduct. This will cause a loss of exemptions for that class.
    • 10 or more tardies for a class in a semester will result in loss of exemptions.
    • Tardies reset each 6 weeks
