Birthday Book Club

The birthday book club is a fun way to celebrate your child's birthday by donating a book to the school library!  Watch our shelves filled with new books that our students will love!

Here are the great things that happen when you join the Birthday Book Club:

1. RJWE gets a new book to enjoy for years to come.  Your child will choose a book from our newly purchased, district approved books.
2. A bookplate with your child's name will be placed on the inside front cover.
3. Your child will be the first person to check out the book (for 2 weeks).
4. Birthday Book Club members get to be on the morning announcements the week of their birthday (usually Fridays) to show off the book they picked for our school.  Parents are invited to watch in the lobby.

The birthday book club fee is $15. If you are interested in participating,  access starts August 15, 2024.

Once the information and payment are completed, your child will receive their birthday book during his/her birthday month.  We will notify your child's teacher when it is time to come to the library and choose a book. Once the book is chosen, we will place a dedication label onto the front cover of the book. If your child has a summer birthday (June-August) - you could choose to have a half birthday.  For those students who have a birthday in late April or May, birthday books will be chosen and distributed in April.  

All birthday book forms are due by April 15, 2025, and we will distribute all birthday books by April 28, 2025.
