GUARDIAN & STUDENT ACCESS 

For security purposes, on January 15, 2025, you will be required to login to MyKaty Cloud (MKC) to access Home Access Center (HAC). This new step will require you to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and will only apply to guardians or students that have never logged into MKC. For help with MFA setup, please go to this article. 

You will use the same username and password credentials in MyKaty Cloud (MKC) that you currently enter for HAC. Katy ISD encourages you to log into MyKaty Cloud (MKC) to access HAC now.

PARENT-DEFINED GRADE NOTIFICATIONS  

Katy ISD Parents and/or Guardians can view their child’s grades in the Home Access Center at any time. On the Grades page, you can access your child’s most recent progress report (IPR) and report card grades. On the Classwork page, you can setup personalized alerts for your child’s class averages. Based on the parent-defined percentage (%), you will receive an alert when your child’s average falls below or rises above a certain threshold. PERFORMANCE MONITORING

All Katy ISD parents/guardians are encouraged to use the Home Access Center (HAC) to review their child’s academic progress on a routine basis. As the 2024-2025 school year comes to close, take time to review all current grades, report cards, and teacher comments and/or recommendations. If your child is in need of support, speak with your child to identify their greatest area(s) of need, communicate with your child’s teacher, and, if needed, review summer learning opportunities.
