Parent Resources

  • Home Access Center (HAC)

A newly upgraded HAC allows Katy ISD parents to access their student’s schedule, homeroom teacher, grades, assignments, test scores and absences. Parents can also update basic parent/guardian contact information. Access the Home Access Center. The same username/password applies from year to year. If a username and/or password is needed, please contact your child’s campus.

    Student Registration Information

Please go to the Katy ISD website; click on the parent link; scroll to > online pre-enrollment > and start the enrollment process.  There is also a link on the Alexander webpage.

    Volunteering

The district requires that all volunteers register with the district. As you are registered with the district, you may sign up for specific activities on our campus through PTA and more. For information on how to become a registered volunteer in the district, please visit the Katy ISD Volunteer Page here. To volunteer with PTA, please reach out to King PTA by emailing KingElemPTA@gmail.com.

    Lunch Room Visitors

Parents/guardians are permitted to have lunch with their child once a week. The visitor table is reserved for these parents to sit with their child, but no classmates may accompany that child. Also, parents may provide food for their child only.

Grandparents may be allowed to have lunch with their grandchild, provided they have written permission from the child’s parent/guardian to do so. Forms for this purpose can be obtained in the front office.

Lunch visitors are NOT permitted to take pictures or videos of the children in the cafeteria, due to federal privacy laws. Parents should have cell phones put away, so they can focus their attention on their child. Only preschool aged children are allowed to accompany a lunch visitor during a visit to the cafeteria.
