    Internet Safety
Katy ISD has provided its elementary, junior high and high school teachers with lessons on internet safety. Much of the material for these lessons is from NetSmartzKids.org. There are two website links that will provide your child with activities and games for your child and teach them about internet safety. “To ensure a safe and positive experience for children, NetSmartzKids.org does not link to any outside sources. You can trust that this site is safe for your children.”

The following is a statement of purpose given by NetSmartz:  “Parents or caregivers, educators, government officials, law enforcement, and youth organizations that want to learn more about the Internet and the possible dangers to children online should visit www.NetSmartz.org. To ensure a safe and positive experience for children, NetSmartzKids.org does not link to any outside sources. You can trust that this site is safe for your children.
