About the Staff

Ms. Dominguez holds a Master of Library Science from Sam Houston State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Reading from Lamar University. She began teaching in 1994 and has been employed with Katy ISD since 2008. After serving as an elementary librarian, Ms. Dominguez transitioned to the Instructional Technology department to serve as the district's Library Systems Coordinator where she managed the online library catalog and worked closely with the technology department to provide access to digital resources. In 2022, Ms. Dominguez joined Raines Academy as the library media specialist. She is committed to providing instruction and resources to students and staff to enable them to be successful.
