The Franz Elementary School Library offers students and staff a variety of books and other resources that promote and engage learning. Students and staff can come throughout the day to check out books, find resources for research, and work on projects. We also have various materials that offer hands-on learning opportunities, such as Littlebits, building materials, and conceptual models.

Damaged and Lost Books
“Parents are responsible for any materials checked out by their children. If a book, resource or device is lost or damaged, a replacement fee is required so the material can be replaced by the library media specialist. The damaged item will then be disposed of as per Katy ISD’s property disposal procedures.” (from the 2022-2023 Student Handbook)
Fees for damaged or lost library books may be paid using the Pay N’ Go tool.
