I opened Shafer Elementary in 2012 as the librarian, and I LOVE our school and my job!  I strive to make our library a fun and welcoming place for our students and teachers!  My favorite part of my job is seeing the smile on a student’s face when we find just the right book for them!  Watching our Knights find their love for reading is such a joy!

 I cannot wait to begin my third year in the library at Shafer Elementary. I strive to help create a welcoming and comfortable environment for students to discover a joy for reading.
