Hi there! My name is Teresa Russell, and the 2023-2024 school year marks my 20th year in Katy ISD.  I am incredibly passionate about the emotional, social and behavioral  success of all students, and I look forward to continuing to build strong relationships with my students and their families. Please know that my door is always open, and I am here to support the BHE students, staff and community however I can!

Prior to my current role, I was a 3rd grade teacher and counselor at Memorial Parkway Elementary. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Tech University! I also have a Master’s degree in Professional School Counseling from the University of Houston. In addition, I am an Advanced Certified Trauma & Resilience Practitioner (ACTRP) through Starr Commonwealth.

In my spare time, I enjoy working out, watching sports, playing with our dog Remi and spending time with my husband and boys, Jake and Luke.  My boys also play a lot of baseball, so most of our weekends are spent at the ballfields!
