Mrs. Muzny graduated cum laude from Texas A&M with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a special focus in language arts and social studies. Following her dream of becoming a librarian, Mrs. Muzny earned her master’s degree in Library Sciences at Sam Houston State University. Mrs. Muzny enjoys her job as the school librarian, getting to share her passion for reading, and helping students find their “just right books.” One of her favorite things in the library is getting feedback from students about the books they just read, “the excitement and enthusiasm students have about their books is contagious and it brings great joy to see students become so passionate about reading.” Mrs. Muzny feels blessed to have been given the opportunity to be Mayde Creek Elementary’s librarian and looks forward to many more years of serving the Gator family.
